A Darth Vader Birthday Party: Decorations

We found a martial arts dojo that hosted birthday parties.  They created a special Jedi training birthday party, all we had to do is decorate.  In order to stay within the Star Wars Darth Vader theme, we went for vintage episode 4, 5, and 6 decorations.  All signs were custom made for the party.  See below for more information and pictures from the party.

The Signs

All the signs and the character garland were custom made for the party.  I bought and downloaded Cricut compatible items from Etsy and printed them with my Cricut maker.

The Favors

I was able to buy Star Wars Pez dispensers on Amazon.  A variety of different characters came in a 24 pack.  I then printed thank you tags on my Cricut maker and attached them to each of the packages.  The only down side from purchasing them from Amazon, is you do not get to choose what characters you receive.  There were a surprisingly large number of red guards in the package I purchased.  If you order them directly from Pez you can choose what characters you receive, you pay a little more but there is more of a variety.

Each kid also got to take home their Jedi outfit and foam light saber.

The Tables

For the tables, to keep within the Darth Vader theme, we went for vintage star wars.  I had a hard time finding plates that had characters from the older movies.  I was able to purchase some from Amazon to fit the theme.  For the napkin light sabers I purchased and downloaded the handle print out from Etsy, cut them out, and then rolled all the napkins.
